An exceptional, fine and impressive, antique Victorian English sterling silver egg cruet set made by George Fox; part of our dining silverware collection. This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver egg cruet set consists of five egg cups displayed on the original stand with a central carrying handle. The original hallmarked egg cups have a bell-shaped form onto a circular spreading foot. These antique silver egg cups are embellished with pierced decorated interlacing scrolling designs, accented with an applied bead decorated border to the upper rim of each vessel. The decoration to the body of each cup incorporates two cast silver lion mask designs, each grasping a ring loop handle in the mouth. The plain pedestal foot of each egg cup bears a further applied bead decorated border to the rim. Each Victorian silver egg cup is supported and displayed on the cinquefoil-shaped stand, ornamented with further pierced decoration and lion masks, reflecting the design of the egg cups. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver communion set; an addition to our diverse religious silverware collection. This exceptional antique Victorian cast sterling silver communion set consists of a chalice, paten and wine phial/flask. The chalice has a circular baluster form onto a knopped pedestal and spreading foot. The surface of the antique chalice is ornamented with impressive embossed quatrefoil cartouches bearing contemporary engraved initials 'IHS'*. The surface of the drinking vessel is further embellished with impressive flat engraved decoration, emanating from the protruding cartouches, in addition to encircling the upper rim below a plain moulded border. The knops to the panelled pedestal are encompassed with bead decoration. The circular foot of this exceptional chalice is encircled with flat engraved arched geometric designs. The paten has a circular-shaped form to a plain circular foot. The raised border of the paten is embellished with impressive flat engraved decoration, reflecting that of the upper portion of the chalice. The shaped rim is encompassed with a plain applied decorated border. The well of the paten is ornamented with a fine and impressive contemporary engraved initials 'IHS' to the centre. A fine and impressive, large antique George V English sterling silver centerpiece; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection. This fine antique George V sterling silver centerpiece has a circular rounded paneled form with an octagonal tapering pedestal and knop to a circular paneled spreading foot. The surface of the large centerpiece is plain and unembellished. The moulded rim and foot of this fine centerpiece are ornamented with a band of pierced geometric diaper pattern decoration. Each of the two original hallmarked baskets have a rounded paneled form onto a collet foot and are embellished with identical bands of ornamentation to that of the central bowl. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver three piece condiment/cruet set - boxed; an addition to our dining silverware collection. This exceptional antique Victorian English sterling silver condiment set consists of a mustard pot and two condiment shakers. The shakers have a circular rounded form to a circular pedestal foot and the mustard pot has an oval form onto four bun style feet. The surface of each component is encircled with impressive pierced decoration, comprising interlacing arch and oval designs accented with circular motifs. The upper and lower portion of the mustard pot is further embellished with a gadroon decorated border, and the posterior surface bears a shaped sterling silver handle. The exceptional mustard pot is fitted with the original domed hinged cover, surmounted with baluster shaped finial. These condiment shakers each retain the original domed hallmarked push fit cover ornamented with pierced decoration.
