About the Item

Water jug ​​in 925 sterling silver completely handmade in Art Deco style. The jug is modern and completely smooth, shaped in a rounded round-oval shape. The base is circular in shape and subsequently modeled to obtain an oval and enlarging the upper part. The spout is conical and soft in shape and allows for ideal pouring of water. The handle, always smooth and solid, made with the casting technique, was modeled in the shape of an amphora handle. The jug has been finished internally with a satin 24kt gold plating. Product of high-quality silverware made in Italy in Milan by Pomellato at the end of the 70s of the last century The company A historic Italian goldsmith company, Pomellato was founded in 1967 and since the beginning has stood out for the originality and innovation of its shapes. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Danish silver water/cordial jug made in the Art Nouveau style; an addition to our range of collectable silverware. This exceptional antique Danish silver jug has a circular rounded form onto a circular spreading foot, all in the Art Nouveau style. The surface of this antique water jug has a subtle planished finish. This impressive piece is fitted with a C-shaped handle, with a bifurcating upper portion and the original carved painted wood hand piece. The spout is embellished with a vase shaped design to the nadir. The underside of the Art Nouveau jug bears the engraved initials 'A.N' and date '1927', in addition to the hallmarks. The hallmarks struck to this silver jug include: Assay mark: Three Tower Mark, 20 (Copenhagen, 1920) Assay Master Mark: CFH (Christian F. Heise) Condition This antique Art Nouveau jug is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
