Opulent, 19th century handmade and painted square porcelain and ormolu gilt metal centerpiece features elaborately scrolling floral split handles, and a grapevine wreathed frame with egg and dart edges on cabriole legs. An idyllic pastoral scene is exquisitely painted in minute detail in the center and dramatically framed with a magnificent cobalt blue painted border with rich 24-karat gold trim and panels of hand painted, multicolored flowers.
