About the Item

Rare pair of Antique English Minton ironstone (earthenware) hand decorated "Amherst Japan" pattern Imari style or Chinoise pattern unusual triangular shape, handled Dessert Dishes. Please note number "3" in underglaze blue on the reverse of the dish. Unmarked but noted as one of the most prolific patterns Minton did during this period. Rarely seen shape and in wonderful, age-appropriate condition.
