A classic Antique George III Sterling Silver Half Pint Mug with a traditional tapered cylindrical form. The Mug has a spread foot and a acanthus leaf topped scroll handle. There isa small crest engraved opposite the handle.
Of a suitable size as a gift for an adult but also suitable as a christening mug.
Made in London, England in 1786 by Hester Bateman.
