Paravento alla chinoiserie. Italia, secondo quarto XIX secolo
By Non-Standard Furniture and Lighting
Located in Milano, IT

Fire Screen Wrought Iron Whit Parrots The Jungle Exotic, Spain
Located in Mombuey, Zamora
Panel fire screen iron forged with wild and jumgle animals
When faced with a piece like this, one sometimes does not know what to say, it is even difficult to define it, in my case I like it so much that I would say that I cannot stop looking at it
I don't know who made it, I don't know how old it is, but there are many. I don't know if it was created in Spain or if it came from some remote place. But I do know that whoever made this fireplace screensaver was a great teacher
It is very difficult for me to see the material from which the figures are made, since they have gold leaf on top and a deep patina from the passage of time. I can not see it, although from behind you can guess the color of brass or bronze
Analyzing better, I think the branches are made of wrought iron and the three parrots are made of thick embossed brass plate...
