18th Century Hand-Painted Venetian Style Gold-Leaf Moro Screen with butterflies

About the Item

From our Hand-Painted Furniture Collection, we are pleased to introduce you to our Moro Screen. Did you know that a group of butterflies is called a "Kaleidoscope"? The name comes from the beautiful array of colors and patterns created by many fluttering wings, that inspired this beautiful Moro Screen. We intended to celebrate the play of light in a modern key, also with the choice of the gold leaf base, capable of reflecting natural light, creating an atmosphere of quiet elegance. As usual in the 18th century Venetian decorative traditions, the entire creation is finished with aging techniques that give that timeless flavor to the work, almost as if it were a precious jewel of the ancient palaces. Customisations available on request.
