Impossible to find MINT designer toy bj.Hammer. Of this colored version were only 250 pcs made in 2003. bj.Hammer has never been exposed and always kept in a dark and dry smoke free storage. He will be shipped insured with track & trace from Amsterdam. Designer Toys, also called art toys, are toys and collectibles created by artists and designers that are either self-produced or made by small, independent toy companies, typically in very limited editions. Artists use a variety of materials, such as ABS plastic, vinyl, wood, metal, latex, plush, and resin. Creators often have backgrounds in graphic design, illustration, or fine art, but many accomplished toy artists are self-taught. The first Designer Toys appeared in the 1990s in Hong Kong and Japan. By the early 2000s, the majority of Designer Toys were based upon characters created by popular Lowbrow artists, forever linking the two movements. The Design Team: Brothersfree from Hong Kong is a trio of uber hot vinyl toy designers in the Brothers Worker team - all from Hong Kong. William Tsang, Kenny Wong and Winson Ma Some of their figures, sets and limited editions: These designers give lots of attention to detail and their sets include rarely made accessories for 12" figures. Brothers Worker: Their sets of stylized figure designs center around a group of construction workers known as Brothers Worker and includes a set of 12" Brothers Worker tools, utility belts...

Mats Theselius model “Star” easy chair Kallemo Sweden 2009
Located in Etten-Leur, NL
Beautifully shaped “Star” easy chair designed by Mats Theselius for Källemo, Sweden 2009. This iconic chair showcases Theselius’s unique approach to combining industrial design with comfort and luxury. The chair features a striking star-shaped, polished aluminum frame that supports a leather-upholstered seat, offering both visual impact and ergonomic support. The high-quality leather is designed to age gracefully, developing a rich patina over time, while the aluminum frame adds a touch of modernity and structural integrity. The contrast between the sleek metal, white pearl back and the black leather creates a harmonious balance, making this chair both a functional seat and a statement piece. It is in very good original condition. Perfect for contemporary or modern interiors, the Star easy chair exemplifies the innovative craftsmanship of Theselius and the exceptional quality for which Källemo is renowned. This chair is ideal for collectors or anyone looking to add a distinctive touch to their living space. An incredible catch! Only 360 of these chairs are produced. This particular one is number 169. __________________________________________________________________________________ Mats Theselius is a Swedish furniture designer who was born in Stockholm in 1956. Theselius studied interior architecture at Konstfack in Stockholm from 1979 to 1984 and from 1995 to 1996 he was a professor at the School of Design and Crafts at the University of Gothenburg. The following year, Mats Theselius received the Bruno Mathsson Prize and subsequently created the well-known Bruno armchair. During his successful career, several of Theselius' pieces of furniture have been recognized and his repertoire includes the Aluminium, Inox and Star armchairs, all of which are characterized by creativity, innovative design and in different ways stand out from the crowd. Mats Theselius is also behind the National Geographic cabinet...

Located in Milano, IT
Venezia, Fondazione Giorgio Cini, San Giorgio Maggiore isola. Memoria della materia, Design to touch.Fuorisalone 2018, Milano. FAI, Villa Necchi Campiglio Milano. Manualmente Legno. Mostra mercato degli artisti artigiani del legno. Michael Lau 2002 Very Rare S.F.M.L. #30 M.I.C.H.A.E.L. Designer Toy
Located in Weesp, NL
Very rare designer toy M.I.C.H.A.E.L. #30 S.F.C.C. by Michael Lau 2002 As with all of the previous generations of Crazy Children the final S.F.C.C. character (SFCC #30) is assembled from the mystery pieces. This figure is named M.I.C.H.A.E.L. and is among the largest figures, 14 inch, that Michael has ever produced. The body and frame is based on the S.F.L.M.F. figures. Measurements: H.33 x W.27 x D.27 cm. Urban vinyl, vinyl art also called designer toys are created by an artist or designer working with a production company, or solely, to produce a limited run of a collectible 3D figure in one or more colour variants. It all started when in the 1990s Hong Kong based artist Michael Lau showed up at a Hong Kong toy show with customized GI Joe figures, that had been reworked into urban hip hop characters, wearing cool streetwear labels and accessories. This ignited a trend that first spread from Hong Kong and Japan, and was initially known as Urban Vinyl, but now the more accepted term is Designer Toys, which is more encompassing. In Michael Lau footsteps followed many artists like Kaws, Frank Kozik, Gary Baseman, Bill Mcmullen...

Eames Soft-Pad Executive Chairs in Charcoal Maharam Wool by Herman Miller
Located in Stamford, CT
The great portfolio of Charles & Ray Eames is widely celebrated and serves as a model of inspiration for designers to this day. One of their most recognizable designs is the Aluminum Group line for Herman Miller from which these Soft Pad Executive Chairs were born. It is said that the Soft Pad variation was a design accident - cushions from the Eames Chaise found themselves draped over an Aluminum Group chair, and the rest is history. Whatever the story may be, the comfort of Charles & Ray’s Soft Pad seating perhaps rivals that of their famed Eames Lounge Chair. The Soft Pad collection consists of a Lounge Chair, a Low Back Management Chair, and this High Back Executive Chair. The design language is similar to the Eames Aluminum Group suite which sports a single “sling” of material which is tethered to two cast aluminum side rails and in this case, four plush cushions for optimal comfort. These chairs are equipped with a tilt mechanism with tension control as well as manual height adjustment. We have a large quantity of these Eames Soft Pad Executive Chairs...

The Velvet Underground & Nico, Unripened (LP), 2007
Located in Brooklyn, NY
The Velvet Underground & Nico The Velvet Underground & Nico Produced by Andy Warhol, Unripened, 2007 Vinyl, LP Label: Not On Label (The Velvet Underground) Country: Sweden Cover art designed by Andy Warhol Dimensions: 12 x 12 inches (30.48 x 30.48). Both the record and cover are in very good overall vintage condition. Well suited for framing. Though The Velvet Underground existed for less than three years with its original members, it is considered to be not just the ‘ultimate New York band’ but also the most influential group ever. Artists who have acknowledged such influence include David Bowie, The Sex Pistols, Patti Smith, Joy Division and Nirvana. Witts places the band and its genesis in the cultural context of Manhattan’s beatnik bohemianism, its radical artistic environment, and the city’s negative reaction to California’s ‘Hippie’ counterculture. Lou Reed’s song factory background is also considered, while his Primitives (1964-5) and Velvet Underground songs (1965-70) are examined within the stylistic context of rock music. The band’s sound world is likewise considered in this light. John Cale’s experimental contribution is assessed, especially his work for LaMonte Young (The Theatre of Eternal Music) and what he carried from that experience into the Velvet’s sound. The visual artist Andy Warhol became the band’s manager and producer in 1965. He placed his ‘superstar’ Nico in the line-up (which already included a female drummer). The radical nature of the group’s Warhol period performances are examined, together with those aspects related to issues of gender, sexuality and drugs culture...
