About the Item

The Cassina Wink Lounge Chair by Toshiyuki Kita in 1980 is not only ergonomically crafted but also incredibly versatile, converting into a chaise longue thanks to the tubular steel framework featuring a base designed to fold forward. Designer Toshiyuki Kita remarks, "Sitting on Wink gives the sensation of sitting on the floor, allowing your spirit to rise in alignment with Eastern traditions." Featuring modern dimensions, Wink fulfills multiple functions while presenting a lively design. The dimensions below refer to when the seat is in the armchair position. In the lounge chair position, the total length is 200 cm. The chair features two types of fabric: an outer cover and an additional removable linen textile in cream and purple hues. The removable textile is in good condition and fastens with Velcro, while the black base fabric exhibits some discoloration due to sun exposure. Minor signs of age and wear can be spotted on the plastic elements.
