Fantastic collection of Pierre Jeanneret easy chairs / lounge chairs. Model PJ-SI-29-A. Solid teak chairs with compass style legs, cane seat, and cane seat back. Hand stenciling on the back of both chairs reads : Ch.L.(P)-063 and Ch.L.(P)-033 respectively. These chairs came directly from India, and have never hit the open market for sale. Stenciling on each chair designating the location of the chairs in Chandigarh. Made for the administrative buildings and university residences in Sector 14. Have all photos from before and after careful restoration. Restoration performed by artisans in India that specialize in Pierre Jeanneret. New cushions and cane. Hand stenciling on the back of both chairs reads : "P.U. chem - 48" and "P.U. chem - 49" respectively. These chairs came directly from India, and have never hit the open market for sale. Stenciling on each chair designating the location of the chairs in Chandigarh. Made for the university housing in Sector 14. Have all photos from before and after careful restoration. A timeless icon of design this wonderful set of eight model #3107 (also known as the "Series-7") stacking dining chairs in black were designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1955. This set are an early production model with a rarely seen registered and numbered metal CAP, April 1964. In the late 60’s Fritz Hansen then changed to the more commonly seen plastic stamped CAP. The CAP carries the Made in Denmark, the Danish Control FurnitureMakers emblem and the FH logo along with the year.
