About the Item

Danish modern side/desk chair designed by Inger Klingenberg for France and Søn. Featuring curved backrest is echoed by the extreme curved seat. Seat professionally upholstered in black leatherette. Danish furniture maker France and Son collaborated with some of the leading Scandinavian architects and designers to create progressive high end furniture. This collaboration with Danish designer Inger Klingenberg (1932-1997) is no exception. Klingenberg was educated at the school of interior design in Copenhagen before establishing her own design firm in 1958. Her husband was the American designer Ross Littel, an employee of Charles Eames.
