About the Item
Richard Schultz was commissioned to design the 1966 collection by Florence Knoll who, after retiring to Florida, wanted outdoor furniture that could withstand the corrosive ocean air. The resulting 1966 Collection is regarded as the beginning of modern outdoor furniture and has served as the category standard ever since.
We recovered this sofa from an upscale hotel in Philadelphia. It is in great condition with only minor signs of use such as a few scuffs around the corners. No rips, breaks, stains, or significant damage. The piece is unsigned.
The sofa measures 66” long x 26” wide x 26 1/2” tall.
