A stunning Tansu chest from Japan, Edo period, mid-18th century. Rustic Cedar in red finish. Delicately carved bronze trimmings, handles and decoration. Six drawers, plus a secret cabinet compartment with four small drawers behind a keyed door. Very well preserved through time. A rare, eye-catching piece that will enhance any eclectic decor.
