Original Antique Leaded-glass window depicting "Batavia, Queen of the East' & the Coat of Arms of Batavia, in wooden door, execution Atelier van Gebrand Glas 't Prinsenhof - Jan Schouten, Delft / the Netherlands ca. 1900. Batavia used the be the Dutch capital of the Dutch East Indies. Nowadays the city is called Jakarta and is it the capital of Indonesia. Execution: Atelier van Gebrand Glas 't Prinsenhof, Delft / the Netherlands Signature: Monogram JS & Prinsenhof Delft Jan Schouten had his own workshop in Delft / Holland since 1891, he also is the founder of "het Atelier van Gebrand Glas 't Prinsenhof" in Het Prinsenhof. Together with Adolf le Comte, Schouten played a role in the foundation of the Museum Lambert van Meerten Measures: Height: 111 cm. / 43.7 inch Width: 50 cm. / 19.7 inch This amazing original antique handmade artwork will be very carefully packed and shipped by professional forwarders.
