Vittorio Dassi Sideboard Bar Cabinet

About the Item

1950s Italian extra large sideboard bar cabinet by Vittorio Dassi in beautifully executed herringbone pattern rosewood and mahogany supported on eight tapered and fluted legs with brass sabots. Distinctive intarsia border in Italian deco motif of ocean waves. Inset glass top in sea-foam green reverse enameled glass. Interior is lined with sycamore and has removable shelves as well as a case of four drawers under two cutaway tempered glass shelves. At nearly five feet this piece is taller than most sideboards yet it is 16 inches off the floor so visually it does not consume volume in a room. Beautifully restored. Ready to place. Please see our separate listings for the companion oval dining table, dining chairs and console table. 1stdibs reference numbers: Refs: U10022388664, U10022388665 and U10022388666 respectively.
