About the Item

A fine 19th century French transitional cabinet/ secretaire. The whole is raised on cabriole legs with ormolu sabots below two quarter veneered tulipwood and kingwood doors. Above is a drawer opening up to a writing surface with a brown leather insert. At the top are two compartments and drawers inside below a white and grey marble top.
