Signed lower left. A genre scene along a Venice canal with ladies shopping. They stop at a vegetable stall under a white awning. The proprietor is seated doing needlework with her daughter at her side. The artist is known for Venetian scenes.

Condition: overall stable craqueleure, brown spots upper right, small spot loss in greenery near the bridge, small tear below the lady in yellow.slight age-related gilt loss to the frame.
