"Man" Rare Lithograph with Nude Male Figure by Roselle Osk
About the Item
Buoyant and aspirational, this bold and rare print depicting man rising through the clouds toward heaven, with angels to either side, was created by Roselle Osk in the 1930s. Osk grew up in New York City and trained there, and later experienced considerable success, exhibiting widely in San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, Seattle, Washington, D.C. and New York. Her work is in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Library of Congress, the Smithsonian Institution and the Corcoran.
