Antique 31.54 Carat Diamond and Platinum Bracelet - Circa 1925

A magnificent, fine and impressive antique art deco 31.54 carat diamond and platinum bracelet; part of our 1920s diamond jewellery collections. This magnificent, fine and impressive antique 1920s Art Deco bracelet has been crafted in platinum. The anterior portion of this antique bracelet has a substantial pierced decorated domed design embellished with three central four-claw set 0.63ct, 0.41ct and 0.40ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds totalling 1.44cts, in a horizontal linear formation. This central formation incorporates four further diamonds, in addition to forty-two claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds to the domed portion. This pierced decorated convex setting incorporates a paralleling border embellished with thirty individually collet set baguette cut diamonds. The strap of this antique diamond bracelet conjoins with the central setting via two articulated tapering lugs, each ornamented with three baguette cut diamonds. The stunning substantial and broad, tapering strap is embellished with fifteen further individually four-claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds to the centre of paralleling borders ornamented with a total of one-hundred and thirty-six baguette cut diamonds, all gradating in size dependent on location. This finely articulated bracelet secures with an integrated push fit clasp to the reverse; the clasp bears the reverse design to that of the strap, with collet set baguette cut diamonds to the centre and claw-set transitional modern brilliant round diamonds to the border. This magnificent bracelet has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This impressive bracelet is supplied with three IDGL diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. This stunning example of 1920s jewellery is fitted to a period leatherette presentation box with satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch. The interior of the box cover bears the retailer's mark 'By appointment to H. M. The Queen, Goldsmiths, Crown Jewellers, Garrard & Co Ltd, 112 Regent Street W1'. This spectacular and important Art Deco multi-diamond bracelet in this high content and grade of diamond, in addition to being crafted in platinum, indicates the high quality of the piece; bracelets such as this are rare to the market. The articulated bracelet is composed of four elongated, articulated pierced decorated Art Deco settings, alternating with rounded links and eight vertical pales. Each elongated setting is embellished with a linear array of three individually collet set square cut diamonds. This feature central array is encompassed with eighteen pavé set Old European cut diamonds, creating a paralleling border. The rounded links are each embellished with four collet set Old European round cut diamonds in a central quatrefoil design. Each rounded link is further ornamented with twenty-two pavé Old European round cut diamonds. The pierced decorated Art Deco style settings conjoin via articulated joining links embellished with a vertical central collet set baguette cut diamond, flanked with three horizontal baguette cut diamonds to the upper and lower portions, completing the design. The bracelet secures with a discreet, integrated double-prong clasp, and benefits from the added security of a hinged safety latch. This stunning bracelet has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
