About the Item

Rare ring designed by Angela Cummings. This vintage piece was created at his own studio workshop in New Cork city back in the 1980. it was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with a kind of organic motifs intertwined and textured frosted finish. Bezel set on top with one cushion cut (7 x 7 x 6 mm) of a natural Brazilian vivid green tourmaline of 2.13 carats. Have a total weight of 15.5 grams. and the actual size is 6.25. sizable. The top view measures are 14 mm by 22 mm and raise 6 mm over the finger. Stamped, with the maker's mark, the gold assay hallmark and signed, "CUMMINGS .750 C 2000 ". Angela Cummings was born in 1944 in Klagenfurt in Austria. She take her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany & Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retired from the jewelry business. A very nice and rare collector's piece, both her signed pieces for Tiffany & Co. created in the 1970's and 1980's and also her own exclusive pieces, remain highly collectible and are admired for their beauty, comfort and easily recognizably in style. Note: This piece was designed by cummings when she have the inside-store boutique at Bergdorf Goodman, after designing for Tiffany & Co. for continuous 20 years. Collateral: They are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. An emerald ring designed by David Webb (1925-1975). This is a massive cocktail ring created in New York City by the jewelry designer David Webb, back in the 1970's. The bold ring is a real statement, crafted with the iconic scrolls and chained patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. This ring is embellished with one Colombian vivid green emerald and have a gorgeous eye appeal that will stand out in your hands. Emerald: Mounted on top in a four-prongs setting, with 1 rectangular emerald cut (9 x 7 x 5 mm) of a Colombian vivid green emerald with a weight of about 2.27 carats. Birthstone: Emerald for the month of May. Weight: 19.85 Grams, (12.75 Dwt). Size: 7 and may be resized up or down on special request. Measurements: 23 mm by 8 mm (1.02 x 1.10 Inches) an raise 8 mm over the finger. Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the .750/.999 gold and signed as follow, "©WEBB 18KT". David Webb He was a very famous American jeweler. On July 28, 1948, he founded David Webb, the company, which opened at 2 West 46th Street. Among his clients were Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Barbara Streisand and Beyoncé have also worn his jewelry. Born in Asheville, North Carolina in 1925, Webb was a self-taught designer whose work included dragon bracelets, Maltese cross brooches and animal motifs. In 1964, The Duke of Windsor purchased a bracelet for his wife. Diana Vreeland, a noted columnist and editor of Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue, was often seen with a David Webb black-and-white enamel zebra bangle.
