(Murano, May 21, 1878 - Murano, April 15, 1947) was an Italian artist. Son of a Murano glass technician, Luigi, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. Intolerant of the late 19th-century verismo culture that he encounters here, he feels rather attracted by the stimuli offered by the Venetian Biennials that he attends, coming into contact with symbolist research and with the environment of the Viennese Secession. A round thick glass blown bowl with a clown supposedly underneath with a funny big smile. A clown as an ashtray can be placed in 2 positions. The hands function as a holder, but when not in use, it can be decoratively placed standing. The swan, possibly made by Ucello, colored with transparent glass containing red and white raised on a transparent ribbed oval shaped base and on top of that a transparent colored with green bowl with curved edges.
The measurements are :
