About the Item

Beautiful engraved and cut goblet with lid, clear glass with ruby lazure. This is a wonderful handiwork of Czech glassmakers, probably from the first half of the 20th century. This is a clear hand blown goblet with lid and a ruby lazure overlay. Ruby lazure was patented by Friedrich Egermann in the 19th century. (Northern Bohemia) The goblet has cut and polished edges and everything is complemented by a beautiful engraving with a hunting motif. The engraving is done on the lid, body and foot of the goblet. This is a scene with a fox hunting motif from the 19th century. It was a very popular motif both in its time and today. This is a beautiful decorative and collectible piece and at the same time an example of the professional work of Czech glassmakers. A beautiful addition to both antique and modern interiors. A beautiful piece for lovers of art, glass and hunting. The piece comes from the sample room of a now defunct glass company. ( Egermann )
