As a highly intelligent woman, she knew how to build a career, while, in her private life she struggled with addiction and mood disorder. At the age of 36 she died from an overdose of barbiturates at her Los Angeles home.
With her breathy voice and hourglass figure, she is until today one of Hollywood's most famous actresses.
