Juan Luis Quintana ( 1959 - ) is a contemporary painter born in Barcelona, Spain. He has a BFA from the University of Barcelona and other studies: Phd coursework, courses in Computer Art at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Quintana is a painter with a long career of exhibitions in places ranging from Belgium to America. His work reflects the artist’s search for form by using his own distinct palette and abstract style. The work hints at the diverse lands which have inspired his work. These places range from Zanzibar, Uyuni, Riga, and Santa Fe to New Mexico.
