Sprawled out on the poolside, soaking up the sun, lies a young man whose back is sprinkled with droplets of water - he has not long been out of the pool. His wife, meanwhile, luxuriates in the cool, crystal waters while they speak; it is hot after all, she would like to remain in this tranquil space a little longer.
If you look carefully, you are able to see the words, "Nevada" and "California" spelled out in tiles on the swimming pool floor. This line actually marks the state boundary between Nevada and California. From 1959.
