Made for Instagram, right? In the very best way, we’d say. Melissa Morgan, of San Antonio’s M Interiors, deploys two exuberant Manuel Canovas fabrics, a stripe and a panoramic print, to brighten a guest bedroom whose furniture choices are anything but standard issue.
A Louis XV–style bench by Maison Jansen is the star, with English giltwood mirrors and a crystal chandelier rounding out the traditional side of the equation. Equally impactful (thanks to that fabric) is the geometric tester bed as well as a pair of custom dressers in lemony lacquer.
“This room was done for fun, maximum impact and playfulness, while still using traditional elements,” says Morgan. “My client is not afraid of color, and it shows.”
