Studio Shamshiri flipped the script when it came to designing principal Pam Shamshiri’s office in its West Hollywood headquarters: Her work space is really an enlightened home space, crafted with all the quirky originality that distinguishes the firm’s projects for lucky residential clients nationwide. “We wanted something that felt more like a house than a standard L.A. production office,” says Shamshiri, who founded the studio in 2016 with her brother Ramin.
Not that there isn’t some production going on. The circa 1965 Le Corbusier sling chair and Marco Zanuso sleeper sofa pale just slightly in comparison with the custom coffee table, crafted by John Williams using lumber left over from the company kitchen build-out. Giving the room an aqueous glow is Farrow & Ball’s Green Smoke wall color.
