Anora swept at the Academy Awards this past Sunday, taking home trophies in five different categories. For those of us closely watching the sartorial choices of the stars, though, there was another clear winner, this one in the accessories category: No fewer than four actresses chose choker-style necklaces for their Oscars looks.

Receiving her first Academy Awar, as Best Supporting Actress for her work in Emilia Pérez, Zoe Saldaña sported a Cartier diamond necklace centering on a 10.10-carat Zambian emerald. Named the Panthère Versatiles, it took 34 months to craft, according to Vogue Australia.
Three presenters chose chokers, too. Elle Fanning, who copresented the costume design award, accessorized her custom Givenchy gown with a vintage Cartier choker from 1958. Selena Gomez wore a Bulgari choker necklace with a 10-carat pear-cut diamond at its center.

Later, Gal Gadot took the stage to present the award for best visual effects wearing a necklace designed by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co. in 1980. Anora leading lady Mikey Madison went farther back into the Tiffany & Co. archive for a drop choker from between 1909 and 1918.
