I have been unsuccessfully resarching who the artist could be.
The stretching pose of the cheetah is contemplative with a graceful, ease and content expression suggesting its attunement and hierarchy within the landscape and the animal world. Its power is conveyed with a noble quality in the pose, the sleek form and the sinewy musculature.
Beautifully handworked with rich brown patina.

Pair of 18th century bianco-sopra-bianco delftware plates, made at Redcliff Back, under Richard Frank. The press-moulded fluted border and scalloped rim is decorated with repeated foliate designs in a style known as ‘bianco sopra bianco‘, or ‘white on white’. Although inspired by the incised patterns found on the rims of Chinese export porcelain, the name alludes to the use of this decoration on sixteenth-century Italian maiolica at Faenza.

An exceptionally rare, museum quality Maltese, Neoclassical walnut chest of drawers with ebonised & fruitwood inlaid maltese cross on the top and drawer fronts
Maltese furniture of this period is exceptional reflecting the status and affluence of the island.
Given the size of the island relatively little Maltese furniture was made in comparison to Europe & American mainland.
Minature furniture is rare made either as a model or an apprentice's piece so it is extremely rare to find a minature piece from Malta bearing the Maltese cross.
This minature commode is highly original with beautiful proportions, ornamentation and patination.
The 'H' shaped top with a large centered inlaid Maltese Cross and a border of stringing. The breakfront fitted with three drawers each with stringing and inlaid six point stars centrally positioned behind the wooden knobs. The uprights with two continuous vertical bands of stringing ebonised and fruitwood from the top to the bottom of the drawers in walnut to match the front of the chest and then reverting to ebonising and fruitwood down the feet. Terminating in tapering feet. The panelled sides with a repeat of the double banding on the uprights and rectangular borders within the panels. The encroaching sea eventually got so close that the lighthouse had to go. Rather than simply let it fall into the sea, in July 2020 the entire building began to be carefully dismantled so as not to have any impact on the surrounding sensitive environment. The Orford Ness Lighthouse Trust plan at that time was to remove the lantern room as well as other original features and artefacts with a view to one day creating a lighthouse memorial of some sort on the other side of the Ness, facing Orford town’s quay.

ORFORD NESS
Orford Ness is an internationally important site for nature conservation and a designated National Nature Reserve. It is a rare and delicate landscape, consisting of shingle ridges and valleys, deposited over centuries by the sea. 20% of Europe's vegetated shingle is found on Orford Ness.
Once a former World War One and World War Two Airfield, the land is now a rich grazing marsh, providing home to birds, deer and rare-breed sheep. It is one of the few sites in the UK with purpose-built facilities for the testing of components of nuclear weapons. Comprising of six 'labs', which now form impressive backdrops on the shingle and the Black Beacon erected in 1928 to house an experimental rotating-loop navigation beacon.
GLYNN THOMAS
Glynn Thomas was born in Cambridge 1946. He studied at the Cambridge School of Art 1962-67, specialising in illustration and printmaking; taught printmaking at the Ipswich School of Art 1967-79, and is now a full-time artist living in Suffolk.
He has illustrated a number of books. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and at the Society’s 1983 annual exhibition his etching ‘Honfleur’, was awarded the Davys’ prize for the best print. In addition, his work has been included in the Houses of Parliament art collection. One man exhibitions include the Dominion Centre Toronto, the John Russell Gallery, Ipswich, Printworks and the Minories, Colchester, the New Ashgate Gallery Farnham, the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester, the Lyric Hammersmith, and the Barbican Centre London.
