Baguès was created in 1840 in Auvergne by Noël Baguès. The company then specialized in the creation and manufacture of liturgical bronzes. With the generalization of electricity, Baguès began in 1860 with successful lighting bronzes. At the beginning of the 20th century, chandeliers were exported to London, Brussels, New York, Rome and even Cairo.
