Anonymous watercolor and drawing "Gendarme on horseback" after the work of the painter Lalaisse which is part of the collection of watercolors "Troops on horseback" dating from 1859. Lalaisse was a French painter and illustrator of the 19th century. He exhibited at the Salon in 1885. He is known for his numerous lithographs on regional costumes and uniforms. Nice frame
