About the Item

This is a wooden rabbit made in the Taisho to Showa eras (20th century) in Japan. The sculptor's name is engraved on the bottom, and it seems to have been carved by a person named "Ouei". I don't know any detailed information about this person. However, as you can see from this rabbit sculpture, it shows excellent sculpting skills. A rabbit stands tall as if looking for something. The rabbit's soft atmosphere and balance of its body are wonderful. The rabbit is almost life-size, so it is realistic and will definitely catch your eye if you place it in your room as an object. As for the condition of the item, it is old, so there are some stains and cracks in the wood. However, it will not affect the viewing. It is a magnificent piece, so I personally highly recommend it.
