Old Japanese turtle-shaped wooden carving object/early 20th century/wooden lump

About the Item

This is an old Japanese wood carving figurine. It is thought to have been made around the Taisho period to the early Showa period (1912-1950). This is an ornament made using a tree lump. The roots of another tree are inserted into the two front legs. There is a small crack at the base of the front foot, but there is no need to worry about it breaking. A beautiful and imaginative design. It's small so you can place it anywhere. This is a recommended item. Weight: 0.8kg If you want something special, we encourage you to purchase our selected items. We mainly sell carefully selected old Japanese items. I've seen tens of thousands of items so far. Based on that experience, only selected items are posted here.
