Old Japanese turtle-shaped wooden carving object/early 20th century/wooden lump
About the Item
This is an old Japanese wood carving figurine.
It is thought to have been made around the Taisho period to the early Showa period (1912-1950).
This is an ornament made using a tree lump.
The roots of another tree are inserted into the two front legs.
There is a small crack at the base of the front foot, but there is no need to worry about it breaking.
A beautiful and imaginative design.
It's small so you can place it anywhere.
This is a recommended item.
