About the Item

A very fine pair Murano Venetian revival art glass dessert dishes and stands by Antonio Salviati and dating from around 1900. The dishes stand on a rounded pedestal foot with folded rim and with molded ribbing with a short stem and a wide rounded bowl with pulled applications around the underside of the bowl. The bowl is made in yellow tinted glass with gold aventurine inclusions and comes with a saucer shaped stand with a raised ribbed rim with a central recess which it sits in snuggly. Both pieces have snapped pontil marks to the base and neither are marked. In good condition. From a collection of Venetian revival glassware.
