About the Item

Boy in a white shirt with a newspaper cap riding on a wooden horse with wheels. Modeling and painting of the finest quality, excellent lifelike and loving details. Modeller: JULIUS KONRAD HENTSCHEL (Coelln 1872 - Meissen 1907) Studied at the academies in Munich and Dresden, was a modeler and porcelain painter, worked at the Meissen manufactory from 1889, one of the most influential Art Nouveau artists, designed various forms of tableware, he began his figural creations with amoretti and culminated in a series of playing children. Model W 120 was created 1905.
