A fine pair of signed antique English porcelain cups and saucers.
By George Jones and Sons.
In a rare tennis themed gilt patten with crossed racquets, tennis balls, and set nets.
Started in 1864 as George Jones; it became George Jones & Sons Ltd. in 1873. They operated in Stoke-upon-Trent for the next few decades and renamed to Crescent Potteries in 1907.
Fully marked to the base of each cup and saucer.
Simply a wonderful antique pair of Tennis porcelain cups and saucers!
