Pair of Luigi Caccia Dominioni LP11 Pallone wall lights for Azucena - Italy 1958

About the Item

A pair of LP11 Pallone wall lights by Milanese architect and designer Luigi Caccia Dominioni (b.1913–2016). A frontrunner of industrial design, Dominioni is known for his major contribution to mid-century Italian design, where some of his designs are currently held at MoMA, New York. Rendered in brass, the satinated glass globes are adjustable in height. The pair were manufactured by Azucena, the company which Dominioni co-founded. Recently hard-wired, the glass is in good condition with no obvious cracks or chips.
