Handsome vintage modern Campaign style oak Gentleman’s chest by Founders Furniture Patterns 35. Comprised of book matched oak veneer, six drawers and two double doors with brass toned hardware, and brass plated beading detail. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. Specifically, it was missing a handle & we had a custom duplicate replacement produced. This Founders Furniture tall Gentleman’s chest is comprised of gorgeous book matched oak veneer and features six full width drawers and two double opening doors, one drawer above the doors and five below. Each drawer is fitted with unique campaign style brass-toned inset handles with brass plated beading around each drawer opening. This is an INCREDIBLE full or queen sized “Tower Suite Collection” headboard by Lane Furniture!! It bears a lovely contrast of a walnut frame and fabulous decorative rosewood inlays across the front and both sides. This is a classic beauty with a Mid-Century Modern style that you are sure to love for years to come. It is going to be gorgeous in your bedroom! All you need is a full or queen-sized mattress and a Hollywood frame OR if you don’t mind the opinion of my mom, who is an EXCEPTIONAL retired interior designer… She would have a hanging mechanism or wall cleat made so that you can attach it to the wall and lift it a little higher, use a platform rather than a Hollywood frame, and toss out the box springs as mattresses today are much taller than they used to be. Annnnnd, Voila! Maximum exposure of the headboard! If that sounds like something you would be interested in, we would be happy to provide a wall cleat upon purchase of the headboard. PRESENTING AN ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING 19C French Empire Style Style Complete Bedroom Suite/Set. HIGHLY, IMPORTANT AND UNIQUE Empire Style Bedroom Suite or Set from circa 1880. The Suite/Set is almost completely original, save the bed, which was originally twin size, but professionally commissioned to be customized and converted into a Euro King Size for modern practicality. The quality of the conversion matches the quality of the suite/set. All pieces have gilt bronze mounted fittings; beautiful patina, beautiful parquetry; beautiful carrara marble tops, simply stunning! About 10 years ago, I saw the ‘identical twin’ of the Commode in an Antique Store on Central Park in New York, however it had a less desirable green marble top (IMHO), and they were looking for 30k USD for the Commode, on its OWN! This Suite/Set is SO GOOD that it is the main exhibit in our rear Showroom. Not marked but under the marble top of the commode there are 2 signatures in pencil (1) M. Le Youters (?) and (2) M.
