About the Item

This sweet, sculptural piece designed by Alexander Girard and made by Mayer China Minners & Co for the NY restautant La Fonda del Sol. The glazed porcelain form is both a match holder/ striker, and an ashtray. This is a great example of Girard's playful and colorful style and a rare example from his important project. Measures; 4"h X 5"d.
