This antique Khotan rug has a pale blue field with diagonal rows of hooked terracotta-red floral motifs alternating with flowerheads and sandy-yellow stepped lozenges, in a pale blue border with hooked square panels divided by sandy-yellow floral spray panels, inner double aubergine-purple and terracotta-red angular flowerhead and lozenge stripes, outer plain terracotta-red stripe.
