About the Item

Model 233 oak armchair designed by Borge Mogensen for Fredericia, Denmark. This design was manufactured by Fredericia for only a brief period making it relatively rare. The construction exhibits classic Mogensen characteristics. Notably, the sled style legs and the finger jointed armrests (and legs) which really show off the fine handwork of the manufacturer. The frame is made entirely from white oak and we've reupholstered the chair in Kvadrat Steelcut wool. Measures 26" W x 27" D x 30" H back / 15.5" seat. Nice condition with minor age-appropriate wear.

A very handsome and finely crafted chair designed in the early 50’s by Niels Moller. This design is quite hard to come by, especially so offered in Oak as the majority were produced in Teak. The timber on this chair exhibits a wonderful honey glow and is in excellent condition. Just reupholstered using the finest black leather sympathetic to the original leather used.
