Børge Mogensen #233 Fredericia Oak Easy Chair, Denmark, 1955

About the Item

This design was manufactured by Fredericia for only a brief period making it relatively rare. The construction exhibits classic Mogensen characteristics. Notably, the sled style legs and the finger jointed armrests (and legs) which really show off the fine handwork of the manufacturer. The frame is made entirely from white oak and we've covered the chair in Kvadrat Steelcut wool. We think the colour really compliments the caramel tone of the oak. This rarely seen chair would make a great addition to any Mogensen collection or modern setting.
