He quickly gained recognition for his exceptional craftsmanship and innovative designs that defined the Modernist era. Lafer's patented, solution-based designs aimed to reach a broader audience, using contemporary methods of production and expert craftsmanship to create affordable, high-quality pieces for the middle class.
