About the Item

The chairs are named "Gaudi" after the famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi, and their curvaceous forms and organic lines reflect the influence of Gaudi's style. The chairs are made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, which gives them a durable yet lightweight construction. The smooth and glossy finish of the chairs is a testament to the high-quality manufacturing by Artemide, Milan Italy. These lounge chairs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also comfortable. Their design features a low-slung seat and a curved backrest that conforms to the natural contours of the body, providing excellent support and comfort. Vico Magistretti (1920–2006) was an influential Italian industrial designer and architect. He was born in Milan into a family of architects. Magistretti studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan and graduated in 1945. Over the course of his career, he made significant contributions to the world of design, receiving numerous awards and recognitions.
