About the Item

This fanciful Victorian wicker swivel piano chair has all the bells and whistles of the most prestigious American wicker designers Heywood Brothers and Wakefield Company. Curlicues, various intricate weaves, braiding, swags, beads and balls are the elements that make up this most whimsical chair. The sturdy metal base with turning mechanism is wrapped in flat reed. Nice natural honey color. A rare find for the advanced Victoriana collector.
