"Longwave" is a swivel stool, designed by Diesel Creative Team and manufactured by Moroso, featuring injected flame-retardant foam over internal steel frame and varnished swivel steel base golden bronze or raw black finished. Only available with fixed covers in leather, velvet and Divina MD, Divina 3, Divina Melange with embroidered parts inserted on the seat. Recommended covers: Velvet, Divina and leathers cat.T and cat.Z. Indoor use only.

Moroso, with Diesel, has created a collection of products with a relaxed and comfortable mood, taking its inspiration from an informal lifestyle concept and targeting consumers who like simple shapes yet at the same time seek a “modern” style made up of high quality combined with a distinctive design of pure lines.
“We worked with the Diesel creative team to develop an interesting and alternative collection idea which was to represent two different yet coexisting aspects of certain contemporary trends: one which is darker in tone, inspired by the underground world and with a more aggressive and enigmatic aesthetic, and the other lighter, inspired by nature and a visual radiance, with soft and welcoming shapes”, explained Patrizia Moroso who always follows all the phases of every design project personally.

Moroso
Known for a legacy of material innovation and quality craftsmanship, Moroso produces sophisticated upholstered furniture for the hospitality sector and the luxury residential market. Since 1952, the manufacturer has been merging research and its tradition of forward-thinking design to create iconic sofas, chairs, tables and other furnishings.
Moroso was founded in Udine, Italy, by husband-and-wife team Agostino and Diana Moroso. Now under the artistic direction of the founders’ daughter, Patrizia Moroso, the manufacturer is one of Italy’s last family-owned furniture companies. Since its mid-century inception, Moroso has collaborated with many distinguished designers.
Swiss-Argentinian product designer Alfredo Häberli fashioned the Taba collection, including a sofa, two armchairs and several ottomans. Spanish architect and furniture maker Patricia Urquiola’s contribution to the Moroso family of products is vast, spanning a relationship that started in 1998. This includes the design of Patrizia Moroso’s private residence in northern Italy and a Lake Como hotel where the texture-rich, naturally hued guest suites also contain a selection of Urquiola furniture. Israeli designer Ron Arad is known for working with metal and for his thoughtful integration of technology in his furnishings. His Soft Heart rocking chair for the brand is built on a steel core. In 2009, Moroso partnered with fashion brand Diesel as well to create a furniture line featuring informal, distinctive and comfortable pieces.
Moroso is committed to environmental sustainability. In 1994 the company was awarded ISO 9001 production process certification by the International Organization for Standardization and ISO 14001 five years later.
Moroso’s furniture has been a part of exhibitions at museums worldwide, including MoMA in New York, Le Palais de Tokyo, Grand Palais in Paris, and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. They have also appeared in the Venice Biennale.

Launched in 1972, DS-600 is an indestructible, variable modular system of upholstered furniture consisting of individual, addable armchair elements. These consist of an L-shaped hard foam core covered with a down-lined and leather-covered cushion. The elements are connected with a plug-in hinge and a construction made of hide and zipper. The stool element complements the famous snake-shaped seat with an intermediate and end element.
The longest DS-600 currently stands in the palace of the ruling family of a sultanate - where legendary 406 upholstery elements in rainbow colors join up to create a circular or serpentine endless sofa. The affectionately named “Tatzelwurm” sculpture also took up residency in the living rooms of Tina Turner, Jerry Hall and Mick Jagger and became the “star” of numerous Bond films - New York’s legendary “Studio 54” also adorned itself with the trendy sofa designed by a Swiss designer collective in the early 1970s. The idea of a convex and concave curved sofa was brilliant, but transforming it into a producible item of seating furniture proved more difficult than anticipated. Together with the De Sede development team, the designer collective spent a year building countless prototypes; almost all of them were criticized and rejected. But the designers showed nerves of steel, and DS-600 gradually became what it is today: an indestructible, variable modular system of upholstered furniture consisting of individual, addable armchair elements.
