About the Item

This exceptionally rare and highly sought-after collectors piece is a Warren Platner Executive Credenza designed for Lehigh Leopold in circa 1970, and features a floating Rosewood upper frame with a granite top, and a polished brass pedestal base. *Please note - the price includes refinishing of your choice of finish (i.e. satin, semi-gloss, etc). **Also we have the matching desk to this credenza, also by Warren Platner for Lehigh Leopold. If you are looking for a desk / credenza set please message us for more details. The existing condition of this all original cabinet is already in very good condition with some minor fading and small blemishes. You can tell that this was very well kept by the prior owner - likely in a high end executive office. While it may not necessarily require refinishing, it would benefit to give the Rosewood a new lacquer for maintenance and longevity. The price includes refinishing of your choice of finish. Cabinet features seven drawers and two doors concealing interior cabinet space with one sliding shelf and one adjustable shelf. Rosewood has beautiful and exotic grain. For the executive or creative exec who wants the most rare and coveted executive office credenza - look no further. And interior designers with a hard to please collector client or design connoisseur. This incredible executive credenza by Warren Platner for Lehigh Leopold is ideal in a Post-Modern, Mid-Century Modern, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Zen / Minimalism room or office. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Hollywood Regency, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office. Also works as a sideboard, cabinet, buffet, or wall console unit. MEASUREMENTS: H 29.75" x W 92" x D 22" CONDITION: Good original condition with generally minor age and wear to Rosewood; light patina to brass; and light age, wear and patina to granite. This was a very well kept example, prime for collectors or connoisseurs. Price includes refinishing to the Rosewood (with your choice of finish, i.e. satin, semi-gloss, etc).

Important Cerused Oak Sideboard by Vladimir Kagan for Kagan-Dreyfuss, Signed
By Kagan-Dreyfuss, Inc., Vladimir Kagan
Located in Los Angeles, CA
This important piece of design history was not only designed by Vladimir Kagan and handcrafted by Kagan-Dreyfuss in circa 1949 New York... this was also owned by Kagan himself and kept throughout his entire adult life (see provenance notes below). Each of the two pieces (lower credenza and upper dry bar / hutch) are signed on the back with Kagan-Dreyfuss New York stamps. The expansive size provides exceptional storage and use options. Kagan-Dreyfuss (Vladimir Kagan's partnership with Hugo Dreyfuss from circa 1950-1960) stamped pieces are amongst the most sought after by collectors and investors of art and design. Furniture with Kagan-Dreyfuss stamps are extremely hard to find and demand exceptional value, and this credenza with hutch is double stamped (one on each piece). Featuring a cerused oak exterior, with tambour doors on the lower credenza, sculpted handles (which slide to reveal a keyhole, no key is present however can be rekeyed) on the upper hutch...
