Stunning solid sisso (Indian rosewood) desk by Pierre Jeanneret from Chandigarh, circa 1957-1958. 

Tabletop fixed on a spindle leg and a solid block. On the user's side a drawer unit with an aluminum bottom and six open cabinets on the front. 

Beautiful original deep red moleskin top. From the Secretariat building (1958).
