Created in France circa 1880, the artwork depicts a young blonde girl seemingly gazing off into the distance, dressed in a 19th-century fluffy white dress with pink ribbons at the neck. Her hair is done in ringlets resting softly on her shoulders, and the whole piece is all set on a dark green gray background. This elegant traditional painting, set in an ornate carved gilt wood frame with protective glass, is in excellent condition with beautiful muted colors; it would elevate any living room, office, or entryway with an air of sophistication, familial sweetness, and old world style.
