19th Century Oval Portrait of Aristocrat Girl in Gilded Frame
About the Item
We present you with this unique oval portrait painting rendered in oil on canvas. It depicts a young girl from an esteemed family adorned in a dark blue dress with a small lace collar and a white scarf. The young girl's expression is serious and contemplative. It is probable that she is the sibling of the other girl, depicted in the artwork featured in our store's prior advertisement, and as such, they can be offered for purchase as a complementary set. The gilded wooden frame is adorned with ribbons culminating in a bow at its summit, indicative of the artistic aesthetics prevalent during the epoch of Louis Philippe.
The measurements of this painting are 65 cm in height without the frame and 92 cm with the frame. As for its width, it measures 54 cm without the frame and 72 cm with the frame.
